I was born in Bakersfield, California, the third daughter of Italian immigrant parents. They landed right, smack in the dust and heat of California's Central Valley to follow their American Dream. After I was born my father serendipitously landed a job with the United Nations in Rome, so this is how I ended up spending my youth in Italy.
Filled with Italian blood (which I guess by default makes me stereotypically passionate) I love conversation, good food and of course, "la famiglia" - a collection of interesting, zany and equally wacky people.
I am passionate about making a difference in my community and on this planet. I am inspired by good deeds, brands that make a difference, and people who care. This blog is dedicated to all those who work hard to rock the world in their own way, however big or small.
When I am not toiling by day at my profession as an executive in health care corporate communications and marketing, you can find me keeping track of family, friends and multiple volunteer activities. Of course, you can always find me in the kitchen...
